Thank you

Your story was a well written and fitting tribute to so many who served and deserve our respect and gratitude.

As always

An excellent story.

Hopefully it will remind people of the price others have paid for our freedom and cherish what they gave us.

Thank You

My dad was there, and we've both visited the Memorial, separately. I hope very much to go together someday. Thanks for... just "thanks."

Thank you for this story!

From my grandfather's oldest brother, who went down with the Liscombe Bay.

From my grandfather, who came home from Chosin, Hue. and Beirut

From my father who came home from Khe Sahn, Grenada, Panama and Iraq

For my brother who came home from Grenada, Panama, and Iraq

For my nieces and nephews who came home from Iraq and Afghanistan

Thank You.

Tour of Duty

I watched it when I was about 24

When I was a kid I use to see the war reports on the news

I was 11 when Vietnam ended in '73

I never got why people were so mad at them

I still don't

From one Anderson to another, I'm glad you made it home, Zeke

I will never visit "The Wall" in Washington. I viewed the traveling "Wall" once and the emotions were crushing. My military service ended. But, I have been changed forever.
