have handled the situation like I think she should but he did what he should, that is he protected his wife to the best of his ability. Plus he took action to flush the truth out before it could harm "his" kids.

From the Rescuer-Persecutor-Victim triangle.

Too bad he intercepted the plot. If it had played out a little longer, she would have given in, then become disgusted, depressed - even suicidal. Then her Rescuer could step in and fix it, perhaps more dramatically.

Unless her Rescuer could turn back time, and make it where she was never used, abused, and blackmailed. Oh, that this story without the Sci/fi time travel angle.

Put some tension back in the story. And some sex.

I loved it of course, what's not to like? The external plot layer, with the evil Thomas Mann (do you have a particular animosity to that author or was it a random humorous allusion?), then with the inner plot opening up with its other secret. Sumptuous!

I have read several stories this evening and he certainly does like to throw in a weird twist. I must confess I have yet to anticipate which way he will jump though it does seem he prefers a happy ending. Here's some fodder for thought. What if our hero did not know the school was going to be closed and thereby had no reason to suspect his wife was up to something. It seemed as though she was preparing to allow herself to be blackmailed into becoming a fuck toy and slut. Then where would we be. These are not your typical almost cuckolded stories. I started at the top of the list and have been through about 8 or 9 stories and so far no wives have been debauched yet, just nearly so.

A different but interesting story. Enjoyed.

His pride in her held it together and her fear was driving her to some - unknown resolution - I suspect she would have had the strength to say fuck off. She seemed the type to hold it together for that even through the fear.

You got a 5* from me. I knew up front he sent the pix but couldn't figure out where he got them; I love it when I'm surprised and I was. Very, very good!

he didn`t suspect her motives for going in to "work" that night, and didn`t have her followed, she would never have told him, would have shown more faith in a blackmailer than her own husband, and would have become his personal slut forever. All because she had an inability to tell the truth, and had ZERO faith and trust in her husband after all those years of being married. She would have chosen to become a filthy whore rather than being honest with her husband, would have chosen to risk getting an STD rather than suffer a small bit of embarrassment before her family. She was ashamed of some 20 year old photos, but saw nothing wrong with becoming a dirty slut as long as nobody found out, and she suffered no embarrassment. Truly a loving wife, and not self-absorbed and narcissistic at all.

Would she become the blackmailers mistress ?

Or would she:

Quit her job ?

Do something violent ?

Break down and tell her husband ?

Too many possibilities.

Enjoy it for what it is, a husband who isn't clueless and protects his family.

Guy stalks pin-up girl, gets married and has children, later on the wife is blackmailed for it and finally, guy steps in behind the scenes to help the wife out. It sounds like some crazy soap-opera plot, but it worked for this story and I enjoyed reading it!

I doubt there's a school leader in the country who could retain a teacher who posed nude, even in the distant past. Although the class might be very popular with adolescents and conference night better attended by parents.

You might try writing the story you imagined. Who knows? Basically all porn is, is just a variation of insert tab A into slot B. Maybe you could create an interesting story based on your concept.

If I'm in his shoes I NEVER tell the kids. And if she tells them, he denies, denies, denies. This is one of those times that coming clean just wouldn't work.

I'm sure different school systems would react differently, but I don't think nude photos decades old would be grounds to fire a TENURED teacher.

To dismiss a tenured teacher there would have to be an extreme act at LEAST since being hired, maybe even after receiving tenure.

Not likely that she would get fired, teachers in the public school system in the US are members of an extremely powerful union that is very liberal and very politically connected, even more so than other govt. employees.

Look at how difficult it was to fire Ward Churchill, who was actively offensive while in a tenured position, and not a public school teacher union member.

To give you another example of a public employee union:

A police officer was caught was doing 143 mph in a 55 mph zone and they measured his blood alcohol content at 0.089, just over the legal limit of 0.08.

The police union got him reinstated after he was fired.

Never tell the kids. He should have never told his wife the complete truth. When in trouble, when in doubt, lie your ass off to save that ass! Funny story. Happy to see that he manipulated his kids into a position that they were proud of their Mother. It was a win - win for everybody. But he should never tell the kids he was a stalker. NEVER!

Great story about a husband who loves his wife but keeps in mind the trust but verify line. As for showing the pictures to the daughters, why not? Children today see much worse online. Plus by showing them to the children it totally prevents someone from trying to blackmail them with the photos at a future date. You know, give me what I want or I'll put photos of your mom out there. The husband was acting not just to end the current blackmail scheme but possible future ones as well.

as he said, he was technically a stalker, and I don't know about revealing that bit of information. there are too many ramifications that can happen to his daughters, and himself. maybe just leave that word out of his story. infatuation is much a nicer, and more acceptable.

Technically guys who do what he did wind up in prison. Also, showing children porn can also be used against you, even if they are your own children. Luckily in fiction anything is possible. Thus a great tale.

The pictures under discussion, from what I gather, were from a variety of men's magazines... and before Playboy or Penthouse. Hell, we have all seen them in garages and bars. We have all read or leafed through a few of them. Pornography is a long long long drop downwards from "nude" pictures. Remember Marilyn Monroe? Back in the 50's that was a scandalous photo - today it's less than remarkable. And of course, Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

Those of you who are screaming about the nude photos traumatizing his daughters, grow up! When I was 11 years old there was a mechanic's shop at the opposite end of the block from me. I used to walk down to the shop and watch the men work on automobiles. I used to hand them tools that they called for. Each mechanic had calendars and photos of women in varying degrees of nudity. I never felt threatened by any of the men. We were all good friends. In fact, I felt safe around them. So, you stupid fools who want the parents punished for showing their children the magazine photos, get a grip on the real world!

This shows how secrets almost destroyed a happy home. If the secrets had been revealed earlier in the marriage there wouldn't have had a blackmail decision to handle.

The basic story was OK but I just can't imagine 2 "little girls" relishing their mom's nudity and wanting to hang pictures of their naked mother in their room and show all their friends and I'm sure neither mom or dad would agree to such a thing!

How old are the girls again? Under age and their own father sends them pornography? And NO child would ever want naked pictures of EITHER parent on their bedroom walls, knew you were a weirdo and sicko from many of your comments!

There’s a between-the-generations thing going on that’s nice. I have daughters and I buy their reaction. Not sure if they’d let me in on the talk with Mom but I’m sure there’d be one. And it would go low way you portrayed this one.. I doubt my girls would need me to lead the way, just show that I was good with it all and then get lost running the errands they conjured up.

And then there’s this, I really enjoyed Hubble, who figures it out and deals with it sans the rage aria. As you are often kind enough to say to others, good job indeed.
