What should I use for Series cover art?

Note: This FAQ is about a Literotica feature that is in BETA. The feature may not yet be available to all users.

Authors publishing Literotica Series may optionally add Cover Art for each Series. The Cover Art will be shown on your Series Page, and may be shown on other Literotica pages in the future.

Series Cover Art Upload File Specs

• Ratio: 2:3 ratio (tall)
• File size limit: 1000kb (1 meg)
• Maximum dimensions: 800px by 1200px
• Minimum dimensions: 300px x 450px
• Uploading a larger image will ensure your artwork looks good on newer computers, phones, and tablets.

Series Cover Art will be visible to Literotica’s millions of text readers, many of whom prefer not to see graphic artwork. Out of respect for readers, Series Cover Art must meet all of the following guidelines (in addition to our side-wide content guidelines).

Series Cover Art Content Guidelines

• Absolutely no nudity - no naked penises, no naked vaginas, no nipples, no hardcore sex of any kind.
• You must own the copyright or a copyright license to the work (no images downloaded off the internet).
• No images of non-consent, extreme violence, blood, characters under 18 years of age, or any other extreme content.
• As with the rest of the site, we do not allow animals involved in sexual acts, either described or implied. Fantasy characters like monsters and Elves are allowed.
• No photographs of real people that are not legally licensed for specific use in adult/erotic content.
• No politics, religion, or other controversial subjects or symbols may be depicted in Series Cover Art.
• Any art that offends or harms the community in any way will be rejected or removed without warning.

To avoid having cover art rejected, authors may want to look into AI Artwork Generators for potential ways to generate unique copyright-free Series Cover Art. Please be sure to read the terms of service of any generator you use to be sure who owns the rights.
