What are Literotica Special Contests? How do they work?

Literotica Special Contests are story contests take place throughout the year, usually themed around holidays and seasons such as Valentine’s Day, National Nude Day, Summer, and Halloween.

The rules and prizes for Special Contests are generally the same as those for Monthly Contests. Any special exceptions or special rules are included in the contest announcement, which is posted in the Literotica Author’s Hangout Forum and linked on the Literotica Home Page approximately one week before of the start of a Special Contest.
